2008 is here and I'm a bit on the scared side. For the first time in 12 years, I will have to look for a job. Not going to be pretty. I don't even want to think about it right now. Check back in with me in March.
Today is the day to make some resolutions and I will try to keep them this year, since I didn't do a very good job of it last year.
Life resolutions:
- be the best wife and mother I can be
- Get our finances on track
- Lose 45 pounds
- simplify
- try and maintain a positive outlook
And I have some scrapbooking resolutions, well, more like goals:
- Participate in the fun challenges on 123-Scrap
- Host the Photo A Week (PAW) challenge and the Designing With Calendar (DW2008) challenges on 123-Scrap
- Try to keep up with the January Layout a Day (LOAD) on Big Picture Scrapbooking
- join in on blog challenges like the one Suzanne is hosting
- Page plan for a weekend scrap retreat in April
- Complete Alaska and Sedona vacation albums
Looks like I'll be busy...

Admirable goals, and I know you can fulfill each of them (although I think if you lose that much weight you're gonna disappear).
Good luck with reaching your goals! Happy New Year, and remember! Theres usually a silver lining, just gotta look for it. :-)
You can do it! We're all going on the diet wagon in IT, so we'll help you out. :)
Along with Ann, i think we are all on the diet front! Admiral goals, you'll do great.
