Blog challenge #8

Suzanne at O'Scrappy Day has issued the new challenge - to complete this sentence:
Ten years from now, I...
so here is my answer.
Ten years from now, I will most likely be having a mental breakdown. Wondering where I went wrong along the way to have raised a now 18 year old girl who thinks she is at the high point of her life being the lead singer for a local goth band called Vomit, with her boyfriend, the drummer, whose name is probably Spike or Jett or Blade or something equally emo. He wears more guyliner and manscara than she does, and is living in the band's bus. If I make any comments about the lyrics of her newest masterpiece "Kiss of Death, kiss me again", she will roll her red contacted eyes at me and say "Mom, you dinosaur, it's a LOVE song".

I'm pretty sure Hannah will be stressing out about whether to go to Stanford or to Cal Berkeley and if she should major in pre-med or possibly pre-law. :)

ROTFL...Seriously, are you sure you won't be the one in the band?

oh, that's funny. And all us old BNM Gals will be sitting in the backrow of the concert saying, "Why is this music so loud?!"

LOL! Way to think positively. On the other hand if this is what you are expecting then it's quite probable that you will simply enjoy life living with a willful 18 year old daughter and that's tough to do, so maybe you're taking the right approach here afterall.
