Welcome to 2010

So, 2009 had some drama to it for sure, in addition to some laziness that kept me from doing many things - one of which was keeping up with my blog. Not that anyone missed it or that I have anything interesting to say, but this blog used to help a lot when I would scrapbook. I do intend to scrap more this year, so that means I really should jot done what ends up being the journaling for those pages here too. Plus, I got the Project Life kit by Becky Higgins, and if I'm going to pull that project together, it will take some commitment and effort here. Wish me luck.

Anyway, I think I will do some updating of this blog, wander around and see if I remember how. Of course, if you read it on FB, then it won't matter since you won't see the blog decor, just the posts.

Right now, it is 7:50am, I'm still the only one awake. We didn't make it to midnight, although I think Hannah made it closer than we did. She got to sleep out on the couch with the TV on. This is what I found this morning at 7am.


Not sure yet what today will bring...but now I'm off to watch the Rose Parade and check out the Donate Life float. We have one of our volunteers riding on it. Her name is Sunny Luna and she is a 3 time kidney recipient. Her donor's face is on a floragraph on the Phoenix's tail feathers. It has been quite the amazing thing to be involved in this event.
