Gotta love Date Night

Todd and I had a date night on Saturday, it has been way too long since we went to a comedy club. And Todd was sweet enough to get tickets for Joel McHale, one of my favorite funny guys. He is the host of The Soup and he makes me laugh every Friday night. Todd swears that I get this little smirk as I watch him because I think he is hot, but I think he is imagining it. I think he is sexy because he is funny, but Todd just laughs at me laughing at him. Heck, I even did a scrapbook page about how he makes me crack up.

Anyway, we went to the Punchline in San Francisco with our friends Lara and Luis. We had dinner at Gordon Biersch and oh man, was my Pecan Crusted Chicken and garlic mashed potatoes heavenly. We got the Luis tour of SF and then got in line for the show. It was so cold poor Todd's ears were frozen (I had my coat hood up and was thankful we hadn't gotten all dressed up or I would have been freezing my butt off in a dress and heels)

We get in and get seated, and after we ordered our drinks, we see Joel walking by and a girl who wore a Soup shirt asked him to autograph it for her. He says ok and signed it before taking off back to the comedian area. Then we hear the girl's friends laughing because Joel had signed it Ryan Seacrest! which is really funny if you are a Soup fan, but probably just stupid if you're not, sorry.

So Joel opened and was the MC for the show. The other comedians were Chris Hardwick, Brent Weinbach and KP Anderson. It was a good time, and we so enjoyed hanging out with Lara and Luis, laughing ourselves silly.
