You may have asked yourself where I've been lately, since it has been a while since I have updated the blog. Prepare for some disappointment because my absence has been for very boring reasons.
I have been sucked into the world of Webkinz by Hannah and now I'm as obsessed with it as she is. I have my own pets and I'm decorating my rooms and playing games to earn money to buy cool stuff for my pets. It is so pathetic... one of my new pets is the Velvety Elephant, who is named Stomper after the A's mascot, and he has a baseball themed room! I know you are laughing at me, but what can I say. At least I'm not the only one, and I think Stacy is glad that she started this fiasco for us so that she has someone to commiserate with about it. I also found a cool message board for adults who play on Webkinz and they are a very nice and friendly group.
My last day of work is quickly approaching. Marlo and I are playing approved hooky and going to the Scrapbook Expo on Friday (this is Marlo's first expo, so this is going to be great fun!), so there are only 10 work days left. It is so weird to even think about, since this has been going on since June 2007, that the end is really and truly here. Yikes, I'm getting all fetal just thinking about it.
I would love to recommend that you head on over to 123-Scrap! this weekend. They are having their 4th birthday party crop Friday-Sunday, and let me tell you - they know how to throw an awesome virtual crop! Wonderful challenges, fun games, and prizes galore. The faculty at 123-scrap really put a lot of effort into this parties and everyone has the best time. I'm tossing in a couple of challenges myself, so come check it out!

Jake's Webkin also has a baseball room! Although his pet probably died a long time ago from disinterest. :)
Stop worrying about the end of the job, it will be OK and it will all work out in the end. Remember EVERYTHING happens for a reason! :)
Do not tell me that I could get a Webkin pet and have it in a Sharks related room!
