always playing catch up

ok, you would think that I would be better at keeping up with my blog while I'm unemployed, but you'd be wrong. Here are some shots from some of our recent outings.
A trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is always incredible.

I chaperoned the 2nd grade's last field trip to the A's game, where the kids met up with their pen pals.

and lucky for us (insert eyeroll here) that the promo was a Stomper puppet that trumpeted really loud.

Todd and I went to Vegas for a bowling tournament and on Sunday drove out to Zion National Park - saw some awesome rocks, LOL. Here is the Court of the Patriarchs with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We hiked up to Weeping Rock, where water comes out of the rocks and there are hanging gardens, so pretty!

Here's how hot it was, the poor guy was dragging himself through the shady dirt to cool off.
