George Carlin died today - I'm very sad. Todd and I just saw him in Vegas on the 14th. He looked very old. He told us he was 71. He was so funny and we really enjoyed the show. His wit and wisdom will be missed...

John and I saw this on the news this morning. We are both really bummed about it. We loved George!
So sad. He will be sorely missed, they don't make performers like him very often.
I meant to ask about that because I knew you had just seen him! He will be missed. I plan on watching SNL this weekend where they will show his first appearance (and SNL's first show ever I think).
No wonder I missed the news of this! It was the 23rd and I was in la-la land. My parents used to listen to his stuff ALL the time, so I feel like I was raised with him. ;-) Gosh, I had no clue. He was so great at it, everyone had to love him.
Wow...I didn't know you saw him in Vegas. Glad you got to see him before he passed on.
