finally got the rest of the pics on my computer

so I thought I would finally get around to sharing them here with you.
Here's Hannah in front of the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum, there are actually 5 different museums in this center - it was incredible to wander through it all. And it made me wish my mom had taken the photo from her family of her Great-Grandma Fox, who was one of the performers in the Wild West Show. I would have loved to try to find her in the cast photos.

We hiked up to a Medicine Wheel - a sacred place for the Native Americans. It was pretty cool to see the things that the people left for their "prayers".

There was a Wild Mustang preserve along our way and we lucked out to see them grazing

At Mammoth Hot Springs, the elk love the grass at the Visitor Center so much they just hang out wherever, LOL

The colors and textures in this area were incredible. There isn't as much water activity there in the end of summer, but it was still really cool.

There was a gorgeous elk off the side of the road on the way home from Mammoth

The next day we went to the Grizzly Wolf Discovery Center. Hannah had wanted to adopt a wolf and Todd had found this place in his research. They take in animals that have become a danger to the community because they have lost their "fear" of humans. It was pretty amazing. I hope they get the funding they need for the completion of their new wolf area. I know we left a lot of help in their gift shop, LOL

Hannah "adopted" Lakuna, the alpha female of the one wolf pack. We also got to see some grizzlies close up, they are huge!

Hannah got to be one of the Keeper Kids. Once the bears that were in the exhibit were taken out, the kids got to hide fruit all over for the next group of bears that were going to play in the exhibit. Then they got to watch the bears go hunting for their treats.

I'll post some pictures of the end of our trip tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

The pictures you have taken are just amazing. Some of the shots in the last post were so profesional.
I want to hear about your trip from begining to end. Hannah is a lucky girl. Miss you and we'll have lunch for sure. How do you get your pictures to stager through your post and not all bunched on top. xoxoxoxox Stacy

What a great story of your great-grandmother! How neat to have a connection like that while going through the museum.

What a fabulous trip!
